Welcome to today’s blog post! I have been away travelling for sometime and I apologize for not blogging as much. Today’s post is a visual diary of our recent visit to the beautiful Lake Louise in November.
Winter at Lake Louise – Travel Diary
Lake Louise does not disappoint! It’s equally if not more beautiful in the winter time than in the summer (though it’s definitely a lot colder out!) The main area overlooking the mountains and water is far less crowded with tourists, which is a huge bonus. You have the chance to enjoy this serene and peaceful view all to yourself. It’s definitely worth stopping at for a few pictures while travelling through the area.
Lake Louise, located in Banff, Alberta is about an 8 hour drive from Vancouver, BC. Most of the other lakes in the the Rockies (Peyto Lake, Moraine Lake, Emerald Lake) are frozen and snow covered as of November.
I hope you enjoy the photos! Let me know in the comments below if you’re planning a visit to Lake Louise this winter, I’d love to see your photos!
